Independent Living Options is dedicated to ensuring that people with disabilities have control over their lives, environment with equal access to options, opportunities and choices.

Independent living is a philosophy, a way of looking at disability  and society. It is people with disabilities working for self determination , self respect and equal opportunities.

Aims and Objectives

Promoting Personal Assistant Service and involvement in the design and delivery of Direct Payment System to implement such a service.

Educating both Personal Assistants  and persons with disabilities in the acquisition of positive attitudes and skills pertinent to the realisation of efficient service.

Promoting and clarifying that Independent Living has to do with self determination. It is having the right and opportunity to pursue a course of action and to accept the responsibilities it entails. Also it is the freedom to fail and to learn from ones failures just as non disabled people.
